The Seven Schools of Feng Shui

Everyone has heard of Feng Shui, but what exactly is it? Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese belief that the investigation includes natural and created environments. To strike a balance between the two affects the energy of a room.

7 schools of Feng Shui

There are many different versions of Feng Shui, each characterized by the culture, geography and religion. There are seven types of dominant or schools of feng shui:

1st The compass school uses the eight trigrams of the I-Ching. They are collectively known as Pa Kua, which is known to the 8 directions of the compass. Each address is associated with a special Chi. For example, in the south is the vibrant energy.

4th 8 Mansion School, also known as the House of Feng Shui 8, is the unique number of the person, based live at home. This number is used to achieve harmony and balance of the house. Persons with this system have two lucky numbers and unlucky numbers with the west of 2, 6, 7 and 8 and the numbers for this value to 1, 3, 4 and 9

5th Key School Stars 9 Stars are used to identify lucky and unlucky days. This school of thought uses complex mathematical formulas to determine if a person gets married and the astrological sign of the intending spouses. It will also tell the doctor to live based on your home.

6th The most common form of Feng Shui is based on astrology and numerology, the philosophy of Flying Star. Difficult to understand and to learn what on mathematical principles and is used to determine the fate of a people.

7th Four Pillars, the end of the school of thought is not very common. Bound based on the astrology of the date of the person from birth up to the minute, this form of Feng Shui is also used to determine the fate of a people.

5 elements of Feng Shui

After determining which school of thought is best for an individual it is important to understand the five elements of Feng Shui. They are: earth, fire, water, metal and wood. Balance and harmony can on a home by these elements are created. If used incorrectly, however, energy can be reduced or even destroyed.

Each of the five elements is associated with an address:
Earth - South West
Fire - South
Water - North
Metal - West
Wood - East

Beauty and Balance

Feng Shui in a house, the room must balance these elements, although some elements carry more weight than others. A chair can be 3 times more than a cushion, for example by the difference in size.
